The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) 2026 – Hong Kong Screening is co-organised by Education Bureau (EDB), the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE), Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education (HKASME). Students who have outstanding performance in the screening test would receive awards and be given a chance to join an intensive training programme on advanced science topics. After the programme, six students may be selected to represent Hong Kong to participate in the 23rd International Junior Science Olympiad.

In this year’s screening test, 3 out of 6 of our team members are awarded with second-class award. The other 3 students also received a third-class award.
